Joanne and Warren Magee – Owners
Joanne and Warren have been in the industry for a combined 50 years! Originally, they worked for Joanne’s Father, Douglas King. Mr. King ran one of Canada’s first wholesale sporting goods and apparel companies and was based out of the Greater Toronto Area. That business was sold in 2006 and that’s when Joanne and Warren created JW Athletics & Active Wear. Joanne and Warren have lived in the Newmarket area for over 20 years. They love spending time with their grandchildren and are both die-hard Blue Jays fans!

Eric Roach – Sales and customer Service
Eric has now been with JW for 10 years and has an extensive background in management and customer service. Eric grew up playing amateur golf and turned professional at the age of 18. He competed at the professional level through University and received National Coaching Certification and helped other golfers learn the sport and improve their games. Eric now enjoys a more relaxing round of golf and spends his time focused on growing the family business in new directions.

George Magee – Sales and Customer Service
George was a successful General Manager in the hospitality industry for many years in Halifax. After moving back home, he brings that same passion and expertise to our company. With close to 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, George brings a unique perspective to our team that allows him to use that experience to service our customers.
