Tackle Twill

What is Tackle Twill?

Tackle twill is a solid fabric that is cut to a specific shape (like a letter or number) and then sewn onto a piece of clothing. Each letter or number is cut and trimmed prior to be stitched onto your product.

When is it used?

Tackle twill is common for Football, Hockey, Rugby and Baseball jerseys. Its also used on Hoodies and Crewnecks, depending on your design. Twill is best used to stylize text and numbers, as compared to intricate and detailed logos. Most any professional baseball jersey has a logo and numbers that are made from twill, as are most hockey jersey logos and numbers.
